“Saxony has a proven record of building solutions for healthcare companies.”
Yasir Bashir would know. Since he arrived at Saxony Partners nearly three years ago, Yasir has worked with our healthcare clients to design and develop machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions.
“I bring broad experience in building solutions in both healthcare and financial services,” Yasir said. “That includes software development, mobile development, Cloud, and database management.”
But what sets Yasir apart is what sets Saxony apart as a firm – deep technical expertise, coupled with deep understanding of business processes for the industries we serve. Yasir Bashir knows AI, machine learning, automation, software, and all that – but he also understands that technology is a tool for achieving business goals. Yasir works with our clients to ensure that their technology investments are aligned with their business goals.
Yasir arrived at Saxony in 2016 as a consulting development lead before being promoted to Senior Architect in February 2018. Before Saxony, Yasir spent four years working at Conifer Health Solutions, a large healthcare services company based in the DFW Metroplex that manages 24 million unique patient interactions and $30 billion in net patient revenue. He was a solutions development manager at Conifer, and it was there that he learned the ropes of big healthcare data.
“At Conifer, I gained valuable experience in revenue cycle management and value-based care,” Yasir said. “Claims processing, billing, adding efficiencies to hospital operations through automation.”
Yasir believes that automation is a key to solving many inefficiencies plaguing the American healthcare system. Automation eliminates repetitive tasks (which are straining employees industry-wide), improves management of patient data, and enhances reporting related to that data.
Outside the office, you’ll find Yasir enjoying time with his family. But for him, AI is more than a 9-to-5 priority – he enjoys using his free time to learn and experiment with new iterations and applications related to machine learning and AI. He is also active in local tech-focused groups and organizations – Dallas AI and Tech Titans. Yasir recently presented to both groups on the topic of AI in healthcare.
Yasir graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, Pakistan. He then received an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
